Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Data Analyst to join our team in the health sector. · Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify data needs, objectives, and requirements for healthcare projects and initiatives. · Collect, clean, and validate large datasets from various sources, including electronic health records (EHRs), claims data, clinical trials, and surveys. · Apply statistical techniques and data mining methods to analyze and interpret complex healthcare data, ensuring accuracy and integrity. · Develop and implement data models, algorithms, and predictive models to identify trends, patterns, and insights related to patient outcomes, disease prevalence, and healthcare utilization. · Create comprehensive reports, dashboards, and visualizations to effectively communicate analytical findings to stakeholders, including executives, healthcare providers, and policymakers. · Collaborate with healthcare professionals, researchers, and data scientists to develop data-driven strategies and initiatives aimed at improving patient care, reducing costs, and optimizing resource allocation. · Stay up-to-date with industry trends, advancements in healthcare analytics, and emerging technologies to continuously improve data analysis processes and methodologies. · Participate in quality assurance activities to ensure data accuracy, integrity, and compliance with regulatory standards, such as HIPAA.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as statistics, mathematics, computer science, or healthcare informatics. A master's degree is preferred. · Proven experience as a Data Analyst, preferably in the health sector or a related industry. · Strong analytical skills and proficiency in statistical analysis tools such as R, Python, or SAS. · Experience with data visualization tools, such as Tableau or Power BI, to create clear and insightful reports and dashboards. · Familiarity with database querying languages (SQL) and data manipulation techniques. · Knowledge of healthcare data standards and terminologies (e.g., ICD, CPT, SNOMED) is highly desirable. · Understanding of healthcare processes, regulations, and privacy considerations, including HIPAA compliance. · Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail, with a commitment to delivering high-quality and accurate results. · Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, to present complex findings to diverse stakeholders in a clear and concise manner. · Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. · Join our team and contribute to the advancement of the health sector by harnessing the power of data analytics to drive informed decision-making and improve patient outcomes.
