Responsibilities: - Interpret data, analyse results using statistical techniques, and provide actionable insights. - Develop and implement databases, data collection systems, and data analytics strategies that optimise efficiency and quality. - Acquire data from primary or secondary sources and maintain databases/data systems. - Identify, analyse, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets. - Filter and “clean” data by reviewing computer reports, printouts, and performance indicators to locate and correct code problems. - Work with management to prioritise business and information needs. - Prepare comprehensive reports and visualisations to communicate findings clearly to stakeholders. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support data integrity and system enhancements.
Requirements: - Proven experience as a Data Analyst or in a similar analytical role. - Proficiency in data analysis tools and databases (e.g., Excel, SQL, Python, R, Power BI, Tableau). - Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organise, analyse, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy. - Adept at queries, report writing, and presenting findings. - Solid understanding of statistical analysis and data modelling techniques. - Strong problem-solving skills and business acumen. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Management, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or a related field.
