Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled and analytical Data Analyst to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for interpreting data, analysing results using statistical techniques, and providing ongoing reports. You will work closely with management and technical teams to develop data-driven insights that inform strategic decisions and improve operational efficiency.

Responsibilities: - Interpret data, analyse results using statistical techniques, and provide actionable insights. - Develop and implement databases, data collection systems, and data analytics strategies that optimise efficiency and quality. - Acquire data from primary or secondary sources and maintain databases/data systems. - Identify, analyse, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets. - Filter and “clean” data by reviewing computer reports, printouts, and performance indicators to locate and correct code problems. - Work with management to prioritise business and information needs. - Prepare comprehensive reports and visualisations to communicate findings clearly to stakeholders. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support data integrity and system enhancements.

Requirements: - Proven experience as a Data Analyst or in a similar analytical role. - Proficiency in data analysis tools and databases (e.g., Excel, SQL, Python, R, Power BI, Tableau). - Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organise, analyse, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy. - Adept at queries, report writing, and presenting findings. - Solid understanding of statistical analysis and data modelling techniques. - Strong problem-solving skills and business acumen. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Management, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or a related field.
